Super Bowl LII | Trophy Collection
The Super Bowl Trophy Collection is a set of official NFL merchandise composed of t-shirts, caps, and towels that players wear on-field after winning the game. Each year the Trophy Collection takes on characteristics of the Super Bowl theme, which is often inspired by the host city. In 2018 the Super Bowl was held in Minnesota and the creative direction was largely based around the dynamic spectacle of the northern lights. The Super Bowl LII Trophy Collection used a variety of materials, patterns, and illustrative techniques that conveyed a sense of movement and illumination.

We created custom typography for a look and feel that would be exclusive to Super Bowl LII and Trophy Collection merchandise.
We selected a special iridescent material for the brim of the cap, which shifts colors and illuminates when photographed.
We created Moiré illustrations of the Vince Lombardi Trophy to tie into the northern lights inspired theme.
